OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Conservation thrives when a community learns together and acts together.

Conservation isn’t just about protecting land—it’s about inspiring people to care for the places they call home. Through outreach, we help our community understand the value of native habitats, wildlife corridors, clean water, and open space in our corner of Southern California.

By sharing knowledge, partnering with local schools, offering guided activities, and connecting neighbors to the natural world around them, we build a culture of stewardship that lasts for generations. Outreach transforms passive appreciation into active protection—empowering people to make informed choices, volunteer their time, and support long-term conservation goals.

Our programs are largely volunteer run.

Environmental Education

We engage the community, including schools, with programs that foster awareness and stewardship of our community’s open spaces and the importance of nature.

Our Save Our Forest Committee, in partnership with Fallbrook Unified Elementary School District, engages local elementary students in an immersive STEAM based environmental education program.

FLC Dark Sky Committee

Through outreach, advocacy, and collaboration with local partners, the Fallbrook Dark Sky Alliance strengthens our connection to the night environment and ensures that future generations can enjoy the stars above our open spaces.
