TRAILS COMMITTEE

To create and maintain walking and biking trails on FLC Preserves for public recreation.

Volunteer for Trail Work

Looking to give back where you hike? Volunteering with the Trails Committee is a great way to get involved on the land you love. Our volunteers help restore trails and habitat, pick up trash, and remove invasive species and encroaching vegetation.  From big jobs like correcting erosion and stabilizing trails, to smaller jobs like trimming back vegetation, we have something for everyone.

Tools and training are provided, just bring water and gloves. Every little bit helps, and we couldn’t do it without you!

If you are interested in helping us keep our preserves clean and beautiful, please join us at your leisure. Just take a trash bag with you when you walk the preserves on your own and enjoy the rewards of carrying it out full.
