Join us for a Sunday stroll up the Karen Tucker Preserve at Heller’s Bend. We’ll hike the 1 mile out and back trail and enjoy the beautiful viewpoint at the top. If you haven’t enjoyed this trail yet, now is your chance to mark it off your Trail Challenge checklist! It’s moderately challenging but partly shady. We’ll head out at 8:30 am!

• Length: Roughly 1.1 to 2.0 miles round-trip depending on the specific route mapped.

• Elevation Gain: Approximately 298 feet.

• Terrain: Steep paved and dirt path moving through a shaded riparian environment.

• Location: South end of Heller's Bend Road, just off South Mission Road in Fallbrook.
